What To Expect
Thanks for visiting the website of New Hope Christian Fellowship. We are so excited about what God is doing in our church, and we hope you will join us this Sunday to be part of a wonderful time of worship. Here are a few things that you will experience when you come out to our Sunday morning worship service:
LOTS OF . . . .
LOVE
God is love and where He is there will be an abundance of love! We were created to love Jesus and to love each other with passion. You will meet folks that will accept you just as you are! Most dress casually; we think it is more important to put on the garment of praise! Hugs, smiles and laughter are something you will see and experience. You won’t be pointed out but you will certainly not be ignored. We need the Lord and we need each other!
Your children will also receive a lot of love. We provide a nursery for newborns up to the age of four. Our Children’s Church (ages 5 – 10) is a great time of fun and learning that takes place after our time of praise & worship singing.
PRAYER
Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer”. A key part of all of our services is seeking the Lord in prayer. You will see folks come to the altar at various times during the service – usually while we are singing songs of praise to the Lord, and also during our altar call at the end of the service. We are more than willing to pray with you if you so desire.
PRAISE
So many wonderful things happen when we take the time to praise the Lord! You will hear folks share from their heart the amazing things that God is doing in their life! Your life will be touched and changed as you hear the testimonies of folks going through some of the same things that you may be going through!
We also spend quite a bit of time praising the Lord in music and song! You will experience a contemporary style of worship led by a Praise Team consisting of guitars, drums and keyboard. The majority of the songs that are sung are contemporary praise and worship songs; i.e. Hillsong, Integrity Music, etc. However we do periodically sing classic hymns such as Amazing Grace.
SCRIPTURE
You will hear a relevant message from God’s Word that will make a difference in your life. We believe that what is in you will come out of you, and that is why it is so important that you hear a message from heaven on Sunday that you can put into practice on Monday.
Friends, overall the best thing about our worship services is the very real and strong presence of the Lord. We start at
